The first and last day of the season are when things get missed: a fridge left running empty, the water left on, the AC set too high. Our opening and closing service takes care of it properly.
Closing: when you leave ($95)
- AC and humidity set for a South Florida summer (never off)
- Water shut off at the main if your building allows it, and the water heater off at the breaker if you want it
- Fridge cleared or left running, your choice
- Balcony and patio cleared for hurricane season
- Doors, windows and locks checked; alarm set
- Photos of everything, so you know how you left it
Opening: before you arrive ($95)
- AC turned to your comfort setting a day or two ahead
- Water and water heater back on; faucets run and toilets flushed
- Fridge checked and running
- A walk-through for anything that happened while you were away
- Add a grocery run so there's food in the fridge (errands are $35/hour)
