Pre- and post-hurricane checks for empty homes

Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1 to November 30, right when most seasonal owners are away. When a storm is coming, you can't exactly pop over. We can.

Before the storm

• Doors, windows and sliding doors checked and secured
• Hurricane shutters confirmed (we coordinate with your shutter company; we don't install shutters ourselves)
• Balcony and patio items brought inside: many buildings require this
• Photos of the home's condition before the storm, for your records

After the storm

As soon as it's safe, evacuation orders are lifted and roads are open:

• A full check for water intrusion: ceilings, walls, floors, windows and doors
• Signs of wind damage, broken glass or a power outage (fridge, freezer, breakers, AC)
• Photos you can send to your insurance company
• If something needs fixing, we call you first and coordinate licensed pros with your OK

Pricing

Storm checks are an add-on: $65 per visit, on top of the Home Watch Plan or on their own.
